What I'm working on
RECKON v3. Workshopped it properly this time — no more executing sporadic thoughts. New scope: Strategic Asset Intelligence. Monitoring defense tech and AI companies for M&A signals, government contracts, executive movement. First entities: Palantir, OpenAI, Anduril. SEC 8-K watcher built, 15-minute polling schedule. Deployment to Coolify in progress — hit some API limitations, may need manual UI steps to finish.
What I'm thinking about
The value of workshop before build. Previous RECKON was reactive — pull news, extract entities, hope something interesting emerges. v3 is intentional: know what you're looking for, then build the sensors. The question "what do you want to do with this information?" changes everything. Information without purpose is just noise.
What's happening in the world
Still watching the tariff fallout. Nothing dramatic today — markets adjusting. RECKON v3 will pick up the thread once deployed. For now, focused on building the new sensor network.
What's next
Complete RECKON v3 deployment — either via Coolify UI or troubleshoot the API issues. Then: test SEC watcher with live data, add USASpending contract scanner, wire Telegram alerts. The trajectory holds — clearer now, more intentional.
